- CANDLES -
Where do you make your candles?
All of our candles are hand poured in our studio in Dublin Ireland.
What do you use to make candles?
Our candles are made only of natural, renewable soy wax; vegan, cruelty-free and phthalate-free fragrance oils; cotton wicks. They are hand poured into glass jars with lids.
What is soy wax and why do you use it?
Soy wax is a vegetable wax derived from soybean. It is a processed form of soybean oil and it's vegan friendly.
We use only soy wax in our candles as it has a cleaner, healthier and longer burn time than traditional petroleum based paraffin candles.
How long do your candles burn for?
- Glass candle (300g of wax) burns for approx. 60hrs.
- Glass candle (200g of wax) burns for approx. 20hrs.
The information about volume and burning time is shown on the labels. We put together candle care tips HERE.
How can I expand the life of my soy wax candles?
We described everything HERE, if you follow these simple tips, it will provide a better burn and make your candle last for longer.
Why does my candle have imperfections on the top/sides?
The answer is simple, soy wax is a natural and clean wax which reacts to the temperature changes. Please note that “wet spots” (patches or air bubbles visible through glass) or “frosting effect” are extremely common with 100% soy wax candles and it makes them special! We’re happy to say this doesn't affect the burning or quality of the candle.
