What is Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is an alternative therapy that uses natural oils extracted from plants to enhance a person's psychological and physical well-being. These oils are called 'essential oils' and have a variety of uses to assist the body's own natural healing process. For centuries essential oils have been used in home remedies and by professional aromatherapists to relieve pain, enhance mood or simulate brain functions.
